Dr. Seth Agbo teaches Educational Research, Sociocultural Foundations of Education, and Comparative and International Education at Lakehead University in Canada. Before his present position, Dr. Agbo taught at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Potsdam and Pacific University in Oregon, U.S.A. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Agbo’s research interests include leadership and policy studies, comparative and international education, social justice, and lifelong learning. Dr. Agbo is a visiting professor at Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Glasgow. He is co-editor of the Pedagogical Perspectives Journal and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of American Indian Education and the Journal of Adult and Continuing Education. He is also a consulting editor for the Canadian Journal of Education. He authors The Scholars’ Publication Sourcebook: Preparing Academic Manuscripts for Journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences, which was released by Routledge in 2025.
