Beth B. Bakkar is a lecturer at the Lebanese University of Beirut, responsible for teaching academic courses. She has a Ph.D. in English Language and Literature, a Master in Education, and a Master in TESOL. Beth’s professional background in school leadership and curriculum coordinator has contributed to her research areas of focus. Her research interests lie in pedagogical development and educational reform and theory in teaching English foreign language and English second language students acquiring academic knowledge in the English Medium of Instruction. Beth has also participated in various national and regional conferences related to teaching, curriculum, and education.
Prof. Frederic Fovet
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY
Presentation Title: Returning to inclusive practices in a post-pandemic landscape: what has changed for the worse and what has improved?
Frédéric Fovet is Associate Professor in the School of Education and Technology. He is an inclusion specialist with a specific interest in emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), critical pedagogy and universal design for learning (UDL). Fovet also has a strong grounding in Disability Studies. He has served as a teacher and principal in schools. Fovet was previously an assistant professor at UPEI for three years. He has also been director of Accessibility at McGill University. Fovet consults nationally and internationally in the area of UDL and was the instigator and program chair of the first three Pan-Canadian conferences on UDL.
Prof. Dr. Julia Torres
Full Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry at Facultad de Química, Universidad de la República, Uruguay. Main research interests target both coordination chemistry and chemical education, especially involving technology-mediated active learning.
Dr. George Cremona
Dr. George Cremona is senior lecturer and Coordinator for German and Media Literacy at the Faculty of Education of the University of Malta. He is also a radio and tv producer and presenter of educational programmes. For this work, three times, he was awarded the prestigious national IĠM award.

In the last few years, he has been interested in improving teaching innovation in undergraduate courses.
Mr. Jorge Andrés Olivares Funes
He has a master in mathematics and serves as an academic in the department of mathematics of the University of Antofagasta in Chile.
He works on research on numerical solutions of differential equations and on the use of Geogebra in the learning of differential equations and differential calculus.
Mr. Adrian Estrela Pereira
Adrian Estrela Pereira is a Brazilian arranger, pianist, and music producer with a Bachelor’s degree in Composition and Arrangement for Popular Music at the Federal University of Bahia and a master’s degree in music education at the same university. Currently, Adrian investigates Power Relations in Curricula of Higher Education Music Courses as a Ph.D. student at the Eötvös Loránd University.
Mr. Mark Joel Pierce
Mark Pierce was an Educator in the Dallas Independent School District for 27 years. For 23 of those years, he was the Program Manager of the Dallas ISD Homeless Education Program. He retired from education in 2018 and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Southern Methodist University. He will defend his dissertation on how COVID19 affected the lives of homeless children in July 2022.

Dr. Hakan KILINC is currently working as a research assistant doctor of Open and Distance Education at Open Education Faculty, Anadolu University. Hakan Kilinc continues to work in the feld of distance education technology, information and communication technologies, synchronous, asynchronous, and interactive communications, learner-generated content and online group discussions.

Mrs. Carole Vinick Rosbruch
She is an English teacher and a Ph.D. student of Applied Linguistics in the Faculty of Letters at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi. Her main research areas include teaching English to students at-risk, students with learning difficulties, and students with special educational needs.
Dr. Eleni Tsami
Dr. Eleni Tsami studied Mathematics at the University of Athens and she holds Masters in “Teaching Mathematics and Methodology” and in “Banking”, PhD thesis, “The use of new technologies in teaching economics”. She is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Personnel at the School of Finance and Statistics of the University of Piraeus.
Dr. Carol Johnson
Dr. Johnson is a bilingual educator and International Education Officer at Renaissance. She holds a PhD in Second Language Acquisition & Teaching, specializing in how people learn second languages.
Dr. Virginia Bodolica is The Said T. Khoury Chair of Leadership Studies and a Professor of Strategic Management in the School of Business Administration at the American University of Sharjah in the UAE. She is a passionate academic, an advocate of cross-disciplinary research and practice, and an award-winning case studies’ writer. Her research interests are related to corporate leadership dynamics and soft and hard governance issues in for-profit settings, family-owned enterprises and healthcare institutions. Virginia has published in the Academy of Management Annals, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of World Business, Strategic Organization, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility, and Journal of Management & Organization, among other journals. She co-authored and co-edited several books, including Mergers and Acquisitions and Executive Compensation, Corporate Governance in Arab Countries, and Managing Organizations in the United Arab Emirates. Virginia serves on the editorial board of a number of academic journals, consults with local and international businesses, facilitates strategic retreats and delivers executive education sessions and customized programs, and is regularly invited as a guest speaker at professional conferences, workshops and events.
